Rose of Sharon Academy (RSA) is a leading Christian international school in Nairobi, Kenya, committed to nurturing excellence in spirit, wisdom and grace. As part of our strategic growth and vision to become an IB World School, we are seeking an experienced, visionary, and collaborative educational leader to guide our IB authorization/evaluation journey and establish a high-quality, internationally recognized Diploma Programme.

The Role:

• Drive the school's final stage of the IBDP authorization and evaluation journey
• Lead the implementation and ongoing coordination of RSA's IBDP programme
• Build a culture of inquiry, international-mindedness, and continuous improvement across the school
• Serve as the primary liaison between RSA and the International Baccalaureate (IB)
• Lead professional learning and instructional coaching to strengthen IB teaching and learning
• Coordinate all aspects of the Diploma Programme, including assessment, the DP Core (TOK, EE and CAS), and examination administration

Experience & Qualifications:

• A qualified teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject
• Minimum 8 years of classroom teaching in an international or high-performing curriculum setting
• Experience leading or supporting an IB candidacy, authorization, programme evaluation or verification process will be a distinct advantage
• Minimum three years' successful teaching experience within the IB Diploma Programme
• Official IB professional development: Category 2 required; Category 3 will be an added advantage
• Demonstrated understanding of the IB Standards and Practices and current developments in IB education
• Previous experience coordinating an IB programme or demonstrating academic leadership within an IB World School will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in IBIS and Managebac or equivalent IB platforms preferred
